My Review
Kilinoe is the first Hawaiian green tea to be sold in the mainland USA. A mild but surprisingly complex tea, this little offering from Hawaii exhibits qualities of citrus fruit met by leafy green vegetables. The tea has a floral perfume and a subtly sweet flavour, but it is predominantly savoury in character. At $9 a sample, it’s not the cheapest tea on the block, but for anyone interested in trying Hawaii’s teas, it’s a good place to start.
