When I was a wee lass, I had a cold that was accompanied by a very angry red throat. For some reason, however, it didn’t hurt. My mother, on the other hand, insisted that it did hurt, and compared it to the red trousers that I was wearing. Thus, I had to drink tea with honey.

As such, I have always associated Lipton tea with honey with red trousers.
